# Sign In to BM.XYZ with Your Email — No Wallet Needed

> Sign in with your email and a one-time passcode to trade on BM.XYZ without installing a browser wallet extension. Powered by Privy.

BM.XYZ testnet supports email-based login so you can start trading without installing a browser wallet extension. Under the hood, [Privy](https://privy.io) handles authentication and automatically provisions an embedded wallet tied to your email address. You get a real BM Chain address and the same full trading experience as any extension wallet user.

## Email login flow

  <Step title="Open the connect prompt">
    Click **Connect Wallet** in the top navigation bar or in the trade panel.

  <Step title="Choose Email">
    In the connection modal, select **Email** instead of a wallet provider.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your email address">
    Type the email address you want to use. BM.XYZ passes it to Privy to initiate authentication — your email is not stored by the exchange itself.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the one-time passcode (OTP)">
    Check your inbox for a passcode from Privy. Enter it in the prompt. If you don't see it within 60 seconds, check your spam folder or request a new code.

  <Step title="Complete Enable Trading">
    Privy creates an embedded wallet and assigns you a BM Chain address. Proceed through the standard **Enable Trading** flow — claim your testnet tokens and sign the gas-free session message — exactly as you would with an extension wallet.

## Email vs. extension wallet — when to use each

## Troubleshooting
