BM.XYZ testnet supports email-based login so you can start trading without installing a browser wallet extension. Under the hood, Privy handles authentication and automatically provisions an embedded wallet tied to your email address. You get a real BM Chain address and the same full trading experience as any extension wallet user.

Email login flow

1

Open the connect prompt

Click Connect Wallet in the top navigation bar or in the trade panel.
2

Choose Email

In the connection modal, select Email instead of a wallet provider.
3

Enter your email address

Type the email address you want to use. BM.XYZ passes it to Privy to initiate authentication — your email is not stored by the exchange itself.
4

Enter the one-time passcode (OTP)

Check your inbox for a passcode from Privy. Enter it in the prompt. If you don’t see it within 60 seconds, check your spam folder or request a new code.
5

Complete Enable Trading

Privy creates an embedded wallet and assigns you a BM Chain address. Proceed through the standard Enable Trading flow — claim your testnet tokens and sign the gas-free session message — exactly as you would with an extension wallet.

Embedded wallet behavior

Email vs. extension wallet — when to use each

  • You want the fastest possible first-time setup with no extension to install
  • You are on mobile and don’t have a standalone wallet app configured
  • You are running a quick testnet demo and want to get to the trade screen immediately

Troubleshooting

Email login availability on mainnet may differ based on compliance review. This page documents the testnet implementation only.
